This photo is their White Oak engineered flooring (that means there’s layers of plywood underneath the 1/4″ of the real wood) 7 3/8″ wide (!!!), 7′ 11 1/4″ long boards (!!!), square edges all around (no “v” grooves like the usual eng. wood flooring), and the finish is a light matte acrylic-urethane. Also, the manufacturer says you can “float” the floor over the subfloor, which in our case will be plywood. That means no nailing necessary.

10/12/06 Update:

Scott and I went to see this product in person at Austin Hardwood Flooring (nice showroom) and we did not care for it at all. It looked a bit plasticky and the wood texture did not show up as it seems to in the photos. We are going to use solid white oak flooring instead. Only question is the width, 3″ or 4″.
